The reason clients come to us. We run our own hardware in a German data centre and operate what we build on top of it, rather than renting a US cloud account and hoping the region setting holds. If you work in a regulated or privacy-sensitive field, we design the architecture, the hosting and the operations so the sensitive data stays in the EU. This is not theory: it is hardware we own, operate and monitor every day.

Custom software the long way round: product teams that build systems we are willing to operate for years, from first prototype to production — not projects we hand over and disappear from. We build web applications and genuinely cross-platform desktop apps with Tauri (macOS, Linux, Windows from one codebase), backed by self-hosted authentication and data stores so your users' identities and records stay on infrastructure you control. Privacy isn't a feature we add at the end; it is the shape of the system from day one.

Cloud-exit & de-risking migrations

Getting off US cloud without breaking what already works. We migrated our entire product stack off Cloudflare and onto our own Hetzner infrastructure in Germany — DNS, edge, storage and compute — and we run the same playbook for clients who need to reduce CLOUD Act exposure or bring processing back into the EU. We map the current data path, find where it actually leaves the jurisdiction, and cut over service by service with no user-visible downtime. The end state is infrastructure you can put in a privacy policy and defend to an auditor.

Architecture that survives a data-protection officer. We design systems where data minimisation, EU residency, self-hosted identity and clear retention are decided before the build — so the compliance story is the architecture, not a document written after the fact. Less collected, less kept, less to ever go wrong. If you already have a product and a nervous DPO, we audit the data path, name the exposures, and re-engineer the parts that put personal data somewhere it should never have been.

Sovereign AI only reaches production if someone runs the whole stack.

You cannot self-host AI unless someone also builds the product around it, runs the hardware it lives on, moves you off the US cloud it used to depend on, and answers the auditor at the end. Wovero does all four — which is why the sovereign version actually ships instead of staying a slide in a strategy deck. The same small team designs it, operates it and stands behind it.
