// Software consultancy · Made in Germany

Privacy-first software, built and run in Germany.

Wovero is a German software consultancy. We design and build custom software for clients — and we run it on our own infrastructure in the EU, not on someone else's US cloud.

// What Wovero is

A consultancy that builds what it is willing to operate.

Most software agencies hand you a codebase and walk away. Most SaaS is a US cloud account with a European invoice. Wovero is neither. We are a small German company that builds custom privacy-first software for clients, and runs it on infrastructure we own and operate in Germany. When we say your data stays in the EU, it is a build decision we made before the first line of code — not a checkbox we hope no one audits.

// What we do

Four ways we work, one engineering standard.

Whether you hire us for a project or migrate an existing product, the sovereign spine is the same: EU processing, hardware we control, GDPR designed in from the start.

01

EU-sovereign infrastructure & hosting

We run our own servers in Germany and operate what we build on them, so sensitive data is processed in the EU by default instead of being handed to a US cloud.

Own hardware in Germany · application hosting · operations

02

Custom privacy-first software

Web and cross-platform desktop applications built to run in the EU. Product engineering the long way round — systems we are willing to operate for years, not projects we hand over and forget.

Product engineering · Tauri desktop · self-hosted auth & data

03

Cloud-exit & de-risking migrations

Getting off US cloud without downtime. We migrated our entire product stack off Cloudflare onto our own Hetzner infrastructure — and we do the same for clients who need to reduce CLOUD Act exposure.

Cloudflare / US-cloud exit · Hetzner · zero-downtime cutover

04

Secure product engineering & GDPR by design

Architecture that survives a data-protection officer: data minimisation, EU residency, self-hosted identity and clear retention — decided up front, not bolted on after launch.

GDPR by design · data residency · access models

// Why sovereign

Sovereignty isn't a setting. It's the architecture.

"EU-hosted" is easy to write on a marketing page and easy to quietly undo behind it. For Wovero it is a build constraint: the data path, the hardware and the jurisdiction are decided before the first line of code — on every project we build and operate.

Our own AI servers in Germany

We operate our own AI hardware in a German data centre. AI workloads we run — ours or a client's — are processed in the EU, not handed to a US inference API for convenience.

GDPR by design

Data minimisation, EU processing and clear retention aren't bolted on afterwards — they shape the architecture up front. Less collected, less kept, less to ever go wrong.

No US cloud by default

The default data path stays inside the EU. No CLOUD Act exposure because your data was quietly sitting in a US-owned region for someone else's convenience.

Made in Bad Hersfeld

A German GmbH in Hessen: the company, the servers and the applicable law all sit in one jurisdiction. EU end to end — nothing to reconcile across an ocean.

// Company

A small German company with one strong opinion.

Wovero GmbH is based in Bad Hersfeld, Hessen. We build and operate our software ourselves — the same people design it, run the servers and answer for it. Sovereignty isn't a marketing layer bolted onto someone else's platform; it is the reason our software is built the way it is.
