Wovero GmbH is a software consultancy in Bad Hersfeld, Hessen. We think most software gives up its sovereignty for convenience — and we build the opposite: privacy-first software that runs on infrastructure we own in the EU.

We build what we are willing to operate.
Wovero exists because two things kept being true at once: teams wanted software that respected European data law, and the easiest way to build almost anything was to hand the data to a US cloud. Those two facts don't reconcile — so we stopped pretending they did.
We are a consultancy that builds custom software for clients and then runs it. The through-line is that we run our own infrastructure in Germany — our own hardware, our own servers, our own data path — so "your data stays in the EU" is something we architect, not something we hope. The same people design the software, operate the servers and answer for both. That is a deliberately small way to work, and it is the point.

Sovereignty first
The data path, the hardware and the jurisdiction are decided before the first line of code — not audited into place afterwards.
Build to operate
We take on work we are willing to run for years. Systems, not hand-offs; the team that builds it is the team that answers for it.
One jurisdiction
Company, servers and applicable law all sit in Germany. Nothing to reconcile across an ocean, nothing hiding in a US region.
Own the hardware
We run our own servers in a German data centre, so sovereignty is a fact about where the machines are, not a contract clause.
Honest scope
We tell you straight what we would build and what we wouldn't. A small company can afford to say no to the wrong project.
Less is safer
Data minimisation isn't a feature — it's the cheapest security there is. Less collected, less kept, less to ever go wrong.
